Future Park Upgrades

Moonah Tree Capital will take over and reopen the Park on 1 December and commence immediate upgrades of communal facilities. The family business has big plans for 2026 and beyond, including an indoor swimming pool, communal BBQ, playground, games room and new sustainable cabins.

An on-site manager has been appointed to ensure the annual members, who have been unable to access their sites since the park was listed in June, can return for the Christmas holiday period.

We will be rebranding the site to the Blairgowrie Holiday Park to reposition it for the future.

Beautiful Vision

'Repositioning the site as the premium holiday destination for long weekenders and families.’

Located just 500 metres from the Blairgowrie beach and village, the site’s high land value fuelled local speculation that it would be subdivided. However, as the new owners, we are focusing on repositioning the site as a premium hospitality and accommodation asset, tapping into the resurgent market for nostalgic holidays.

The location has something to offer everyone, including world-class golf courses, amazing beaches, the country's best pubs, breathtaking coastal walks, hot springs and arguably Victoria’s best wine region, all at its doorstep.

The acquisition marks the first "hospitality and lifestyle" asset for Moonah Tree Capital, which includes the property veteran Laurie Thomas and family members Scott, Anthony, and Felicity Thomas.

"There is a lot of work to be done over the coming years, however we see this as a generational investment, “said Scott Thomas, Moonah Tree Capital, Managing Director.“We love the area and know it well. We want to build a proposition that will allow more families and tourists to access what we believe is one of the most special places in Australia. There is limited affordable accommodation on the coast, and the Park has all the attributes to be a destination location for a segment of the market."
